WHO WE ARE

My name is Tucker Welty and I am the founder of Kidney Cancer Connection. I started the community in 2020, after my moms diagnosis with stage IV Kidney cancer. Kidney Cancer Connection is a free virtual community open to anybody who needs help dealing with the emotional effects of cancer. It is a very difficult, and grieving process when somebody is diagnosed with any form of cancer. My goal is to create a community where people affected by any type of cancer can receive help in any way that they need in order to make their experience easier. The website includes blog posts, virtual meetings, and private discussions with people who have been placed in similar situations as others. The reason why this community is different from others is because everybody involved has went through, or is going through the process of dealing with cancer in themself, or in there family. Speaking with people who understand your scenario is the best advice anybody can receive.
